Horse Riding in Umbria The riding school organizes riding within the National Park and offers instruction for beginners. Competent riders may undertake treks of one or two day’s duration.
Trekking with Mules Trekking with mules is a real experience. The mules progress slowly, carrying your luggage and leaving you free to enjoy the marvelous views of the area at your own pace.
Rafting in Umbria Enjoy rafting along seven kilometers of the safe waters of the River Corno: named ‘The Green River’ because of the luxuriant vegetation through which it flows. The trip is through marvelous scenery and is suitable for adults and children alike.
Igloo We have been building Igloos in the Monti Sibillini National Park since 2001. During the winter months you can join us for either one or two day programs, to discover how to build an Igloo, and experience a taste of Inuit life.

Frasassi Caves The Frasassi Caves are a beautiful and magnificent underground complex extending to some 30 km - 1.5 km of which are open to the public. One of the most fascinating of environments they have been formed during the course of over a millennia by the slow drip of water over limestone - creating a strange and fantastic wonderland which includes Europe's largest single cavern, big enough to comfortably accommodate Milan Cathedral. Situated in the province of Ancona, Le Marche and within the heart of the Gola della Rosa Nature Park, a visit to the caves is a unique experience. No visitor could forget the beauty of a scene enhanced by theatrical lighting and formed by stalactites, stalagmites and lake of crystal clear water. The Frasassi Caves are to be found approximately 90 minutes from the Casale.
Cable car - Frontignano At Frontignano, 25 minutes from the Casale, it is possible to take a cable car to the refuge of 'The Christ of the Snows'. From this point there is easy access to hiking in the Val di Bove and towards the main peaks of the Monti Sibillini, where the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains may be enjoyed. It is also permitted to take your mountain bike on the cable car in order to access different routes.
Palace of Ice - Ussita The Ice Palace, situated on the road to Frontignano and located some 15 minutes from the Casale, has a 30x60 metre Olympic Ice Rink and is one of the most popular attractions of Ussita. Set in a panoramic position just below Monte Bove it is where many young people go to skate and spend time together. Swimming, tennis, horse riding, trekking, Nordic walking and mountain biking may also be experienced nearby within the valley.
